Technically, these apparently do count as a sketches. Over the year, I've been trying to figure out how to paint clouds that... well... look at least remotely like clouds. My first few attempts have been neither satisfying nor inspiring... but I think these latest ones are getting there, kinda...

I still can't pull these off in Painter though. These were done in Photoshop with the basic round brush at a low opacity.


Now this really doesn't count as a sketch anymore, but there's the cloud painting in application. She's not my character, by the way. Her name is Napha (Thai for "sky") and this is fanart for (take a guess) a Thai person's story. Once again, this is V5 in action. I kinda messed up some stuff about the anatomy too... with the eye distance and the posture.
