Okay, let me clarify something for all my adoring fans. *cricket sounds*

There's been a surge of drawings that I've labeled "V5" which may have brought some of you to believe that I have abandoned the "manga style" for realism. While it's true that I am working towards a direction of being able to draw realistically, I would like to reiterate that:

  1. V5 is not intended to be photorealistic,
  2. I still strongly recognize that the modern "manga" style has a lot of value in its discipline that may not necessarily be found in the disciplines of traditional painters and many comic book artists of the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. And...
  3. that, while style is a choice, versatility is too.
With that, I bring you a horribly disfigured drawing (no references used) which, I think, has some decent tone-stuff going on.

hee hee... it looks like the mutant offspring of Liv Tyler... if she had mutant offspring.

But no... she has a happy little boy named Milo who should be about two years old by now.
